Let me preface this by saying I am *NOT* an expert when it comes to makeup brushes. Until recently, I had been using the same cheap brushes I ordered on ebay over a year ago.
Lately I've been looking around for new brushes. I have purchased a few from Sephora, MAC, ECOtools, E.L.F., and Make-up Jungle. Out of the new brushes I've tried, the eye brush set I ordered from Make-up Jungle have been my favorite.
The set comes with 5 brushes for $29.00 + shipping, so I think it came out to be around $33.00. Right now she has a special : when you order the eye brush set you get a free animal print makeup bag. ALSO : for Breast Cancer awareness month, a portion of the proceeds from orders will goto BCA.
From left to right: #800 Angle Eyeliner, #805 Outer "V" Angled Brush, #803 Medium Shadow Brush, #806 Pencil Brush, #817 Deluxe Crease Blending Brush.
Pros:
They're all really soft
Made well
A nice variety in the set
Super affordable
Cons:
The handle for the Deluxe crease blending brush seems abnormally long to me.
The only brush I don't really care for is the angle eyeliner. I prefer the E.L.F. eyeliner brush I purchased. Overall, I would say the other four brushes are worth spending the $29.00. The entrepreneur behind Make-up Jungle is a delight, so that helps too. I would recommend these to beginners or just anyone looking for a few new, inexpensive items for their collection and I plan on ordering more. Check out the website for a complete list of all the brushes they offer!
