Haul time : the sequel. (Swatches included)

Hey there ladies! Earlier this week I posted the first part of my haul. I knew after weeks of a no-buy due to the holidays that I wasn't quit done. Now that I've spent more money than I should this week I can show you the second half of my haul! It includes the rest of the Maybelline Color Tattoo shadows, more Dream Bouncy blushes, some of the new Wet N Wild LE stuff, and ............... lip butters. Are you sick of hearing about these things yet? Me too. But I'm going to show you anyway!

More after the jump!

I have a good amount of stuff to talk about so I'm going to jump right in.

First up : Wet N Wild. I went in search of the new eyeshadow singles, sadly I didn't find them. I did, however, come across a display that said "Wet N Wild 2012 Limited Edition Collections". YAY! I have the hardest time finding their LE products. I saw nailpolishes, brozers, lip sticks, and lipglosses. I picked up 3 of the Mega Shield SPF 15 lip colors. These cost $1.99 each @ 0.10 oz. The packaging for these is *awful*. There was so much tape/labels/sticks to get off just to open the product, and then it was a bit difficult to get it to twist. For $2 I can't really complain, I just thought I'd point it out.

I picked up Salsa Lessons which is a great orange-y red shade. I, personally, owned no red lipsticks until I purchased this. I have red hair and fair skin so red lipstick tends to make me feel like a clown if it's REALLY red. After watching Morena Barbee's videos about her favorite red lipsticks and lip glosses, I decided I wanted to try again, without spending a lot of money on it, in case I just couldn't get into it.

The next shade I picked was Lolly Popstar, which is more of a bright pink. You can never have too many shades of pink lipstick!

And the last shade I picked up was Pink Champagne. To be honest, I don't really like this color. I'm not sure why I picked it up. It's almost identical to the lip butter shade Peach Parfait, which I also do not like. They are light pink and frosty. They just look kind of blah.

The last Wet N Wild LE product I picked up was their new Color Icon SPF 15 bronzer in the shade "Reserve Your Cabana". Again, I've never really owned a brozer and I wanted to try it. This was $2.99 so again, if I don't like it, no big deal. The sun emblem on it is super cute. I like the packaging. It's pretty big, bigger than the palm of my hand, so if you keep blushes and bronzers in smaller organizers, this probably won't fit.

Moving on to : Revlon LIP BUTTERS! I purchased 2 of them when they first came out, but only 2 because that's all I could find so I didn't even bother to post about them. I went to Walgreen's last night and they had a full display..I only picked up 2 more. I now own Tutti Fruti, Peach Parfait, Lollipop, and Sweet Tart. I know, you've heard reviews on all of these a thousand times, so I won't bore you with big reviews. Just some swatches! I did not swatch Peach Parfait. As I mentioned before, I don't much care for it and it looks almost identical to Pink Champagne on.

I picked up 2 more Dream Bouncy blush. I already had four of them, but I really like them. They go on smoothly and come in a bunch of colors. I got Candy Coral and Rose Petal.

Rose Petal, Candy Coral

I adore peach and coral blushes. ADORE them. Candy Coral is probably (now) my favorite of the bunch that I own. I love the flush of color it gives! Rose Petal is a soft pink color. I have this on today. I didn't want to do a lot of makeup, but I wanted to do some and Rose Petal gives me a super soft, natural blush. It looks like I was out in the cold for a while and my cheeks are getting rosy! Sadly, it was pretty gloomy out today so I was not able to get good swatch photos.

Last but not least, I finally found the last six shades of the Maybelline Color Tattoo shadows. I now have the whole collection. I really enjoy these, so I hope they introduce more shades!

TOP L-R Fierce & Tangy, Painted Purple, Tenacious Teal.. Bottom L-R Bold Gold, Bad to the Bronze, Too Cool

I love these! there's a good amount of neutrals but there are also a good amount of trendy, bright colors.
Tenacious Teal is absolutely GORGEOUS and I cannot wait to use it in a look.

I would recommend you got pick up these products (with the exception of those 2 lip shades. boo). Do you own any of these products? Have you used the Color Tattoo shadows in a look? Share your looks below, I can't wait to see!

  1. I really want to try those Maybelline blushers! But I can't figure it out, are they powder or cream?
